Movie Extra Webfest announced the winner today of their 2011 competition and unfortunately it wasn’t us. It was great that we were part of 15 finalists who were narrowed down from 85 entries.
Thanks to all the support we received over the last two months, we were one of only two videos to make the finals in Webfest from the original terms of the competition (before the dates were extended) and we finished fourth in the public votes in the finals, a feat we’re very proud of. We’ll be looking to possibly work more on the concept of ISA and hopefully this isn’t the last you’ve seen of it. Big shout outs go to Half Moon Brighton for allowing us to shoot there and for putting on the party, Michael Middleton for his great camera work and equipment, Aleck and Daniel who did the editing, the entire cast of the trailer and the bonus scenes all who were amazing to work with, my producing partners Britta Drevermann and Stephanie Pringle, the crew who all did such a great job in their roles, and Rory at Good Audio Sense for the sound mix. There’s no negatives from this production and it’s been a stack of fun, we’ll leave the videos on YouTube for you to all enjoy.
Cheers,
Rob Innes.
